Collabitat LLC was originally founded by software engineer William R. Brockschmidt, Jr. in 2000 as a digital recording label.  The  word was coined by Mr. Brockschmidt who envisioned a virtual laboratory and habitat for musicians, artists, software engineers, html coders, entrepreneurs and others to come together to collaborate on new content for the internet age.   True to the original vision of the word, Collabitat incorporated as an LLC in 2015 and has grown to become a software and multimedia enterprise with talented affiliates and partners working to provide projects a variety of digital services.
