William

William R. Brockschmidt, Jr. is a multidisciplinary software engineer and Microsoft Xamarin Certified Mobile Professional.   William graduated cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 1989 where he majored in Humanities and International Affairs.

He has had a successful Software Engineering career since 1996 and has designed, developed and maintained many data driven web applications.   Partnering with tech firms such as Gantech and UAQA LLP  Mr. Brockschmidt has been a lead architect on website application development to the Maryland Department of Education, the Illinois State Board of Education, and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.  He consulted with the World Wildlife Fund as Senior Project Lead Developer on their Project Tracking System (PTS) which was a web based project, agreement, and budgeting management tool used by their US headquarters and field offices world wide.

William lives near Annapolis Maryland with his husband and two kids.  He is a member of the American Society of Authors and Composers (ASCAP) and the Maryland Writers Association.  William was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He is fluent in French.
